Full Time Technicians Colorado Springs, CO, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 2068 Salary Range: $23.00 To $30.00 Hourly As an EKG Tech, you must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions of the Role: Perform EKG tests on patients as requested by physicians Analyze test results and provide necessary reports to physicians Set up and maintain EKG equipment Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all EKG tests Prepare patients for EKG tests Educate patients and families about the EKG process Operate EKG machines, monitor, and interpret EKG readings Coordinate with other medical staff and provide necessary assistance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the exam room Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols Place, maintain, monitor and process Cardiac Holter and Mobile Telemetry monitors Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum one (1) year experience as an EKG Technician Current certification as an EKG Technician Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Ability to operate EKG equipment Ability to read and interpret EKG tracings Ability to maintain accurate patient records Basic computer skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to provide patient education on EKG procedures This position is a remote position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6:30 am - 5:00 PM. Physical Requirements This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
